STOTT COURSE INTRODUCTION

STOTT PILATES

STOTT Pilates Intensive Program (Level 1) is open to who already working in fitness and movement related program, completed an anatomy course and meet the Pilates income requirements.

ICCB-Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrels Course

Upon completing the above course, you will be qualified to teach the STOTT Pilates method, and if you pass the exam, you will become a STOTT Pilates certified Instructor.

Recognized as (Pilates instructor with STOTT Pilates certification).

IMP

Beginner and intermediate mat exercises for individual or group training environments through mat courses

We train you to design and lead a repertoire. After completing the mat course, you will be able to acquire a solid foundation of Pilates and effective programming methods.

What you learn through the mat curriculum.

- STOTT Pilates Basic Principles

-Beginner and intermediate level exercises and power exercises, as well as mat exercises using various props

-Effective communication skills and movement observation skills

-Theory and practice of verbal cueing, image cueing, and posture analysis that can motivate members and strengthen their movements

-63 mat exercises and application methods that can be applied according to specific body type, posture, and member condition

-A method of adding resistance to support movement or increase the intensity of exercise.

-Effective program design

-How to organize exercises for private and group teaching

*Power exercise: We call a more intense exercise sequence a power workout.

 

Essential elements for certification

40 hours of training and guidance

Minimum 10 hours of observation

At least 30 hours of physical review

At least 15 hours of teaching practice

IR

Beginner and intermediate reformer exercises for individual or group training environments through the reformer course

This is training so that you can design and lead a repertoire. After completing the Reformer course, you will gain a solid foundation of Pilates and effective programming methods.

You can take the Reformer course before the mat course, but it is recommended that you complete the mat course first.

What you learn through the mat curriculum.

- STOTT Pilates Basic Principles (Basic)

-Beginner and intermediate level exercises and power exercises

-Effective use of the reformer to increase body stability, muscle strength, joint stability, flexibility, and balance coordination.

-Effective communication skills and movement observation skills

-Verbal cueing and image cueing to motivate members and strengthen their movements

-Theory and practice of posture analysis

-139 Reformer exercises and application methods that can be applied according to specific body type, posture, and member condition

-How to add resistance to the reformer to support movement or increase the intensity of the exercise.

-Layering of exercises related to effective program design

-How to organize exercises for individual and group teaching

50 hours of training and guidance

Minimum 10 hours of observation

At least 40 hours of physical review

At least 15 hours of teaching practice

ICCB

The ICCB course is a combination of the Chair and Cadillac Barrel courses.

To take this course, you must complete the Mat or Reformer course.

The ICCB course consists of three modules: ICAD, ICHR and IBRL.

You must complete all three modules to receive certification of course completion.

 

ICAD

Based on what you learned from Mat and Reformer, you can use Cadillac at the beginner to intermediate level.

You can learn exercise. Additionally, you can use Cadillac to design and lead private or group classes. This Cadillac course includes 125 moves.

What you learn through the ICAD curriculum.

-Beginner and intermediate level exercises that can be performed using the Cadillac Trapeze Table.

-How to use the Cadillac as an assistant to create perfect movements on the mat and other Pilates equipment.

-Learning and observing various movements using Cadillac functions such as Roll-Down Bar, Push-Thru Bar, Trapeze, Leg and Arm Spring, etc.

- How to correct and cue each exercise for its goals, biomechanics and alignment, safety and effectiveness

-How to apply the five basic principles of STOTT Pilates to various exercises, variations, and applied movements

 

 

Essential elements for certification

25 hours of training and guidance

Minimum 10 hours of observation

Minimum 15 hours of physical review

At least 10 hours of teaching practice

60 hours total

 

ICHR

Based on what you learned on the mat and reformer, you can learn exercises using the chair at beginner and intermediate levels.

Additionally, you can use the chair to design and lead private or group classes.

 

What you learn through the ICHR curriculum.

-Functional exercises to develop core strength against spring resistance in various positions

-How to apply the five basic principles of STOTT Pilates to beginner to intermediate level chair movements

-Understanding the nature of exercise, exercise goals, appropriate movement, and muscle activation

-How to improve core stability, improve arm and leg strength, and improve mobility in a chair.

-How to use split pedals to vary your strength and stability challenges

-Cueing and correction methods to provide safe and effective movement

 

Essential elements for certification

15 hours of training and guidance

Minimum 5 hours of observation

At least 10 hours of physical review

At least 10 hours of teaching practice

Total 40 hours

IBRL

Based on what you learned from Mat and Reformer, you can create ladder barrels at beginner and intermediate levels,

You can learn exercises using the spine corrector and arc barrel.

Additionally, you can use these three barrels to design and lead private or group classes.

What you learn through the IBRL curriculum.

-How to apply the five basic principles of STOTT Pilates to the beginner and intermediate level movements of the Arch Barrel, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel

- STOTT Pilates beginner and intermediate level barrel repertoire practice

-A method of using a barrel to support the body during various movements of the spine

-Functional exercises to develop core strength against spring resistance in various positions

-How to use barrels to adapt to specific body types and postures, and how to integrate barrel exercises into a full-body exercise program.

-Verbal cueing and image cueing that can motivate painters and strengthen their movements

Essential elements for certification

10 hours of training and guidance

Minimum 5 hours of observation

At least 10 hours of new product review

At least 5 hours of teaching practice

Total 30 hours
